Prior to your appointment, Dr. Knutson will prescribe a mild sedative for you to take before you come to the office. By the time you and your companion arrive, you’ll be a little bit drowsy. Additional medication will be given to you as needed so that you are able to completely RELAX throughout your entire appointment. You will not lose consciousness, but the sights, the sounds, and the smells of dental treatment will gently drift away. And before you know it, you’ll be on your way home with little or no memory of your appointment! This can be an ideal way to get all of your treatment done in just a few visits!
